My wife and I attended the Tri-Cities Rabbit Association show held in Kennewick, Washington. It was a double show. We entered four Blanc de Hotot in both shows.

In show A Junior Buck 8B05 was BOS, and in show B won BOB; however, in Show B were not enough to win a Leg.

Junior Doe 8D10 was 2nd in her class in show A, and in show B was BOS.

Junior Doe 8D09 was 4th in her class in show A, and was 2nd in her class in show B.

Junior Doe 8D08 was disqualified in both shows for wrong eye color - was a light brown instead of dark brown (she has gone to packing house).

My wife and I attended the Yakima Valley Rabbit Breeders Association show held in Yakima, Washington. ` It was a double show. We entered three Blanc de Hotot in both shows.

Junior Buck 8B05 won BOB in both shows. Margaret from Everett brought over a couple of does; therefore, 8B05 won 2 Legs. Margarets Intermediate Doe was BOS in both shows.

Junior doe 8D10 was 1st in her class in Show A, and 2nd in her class in show B.

Junior Doe 8D09 was 2nd in her class in Show A, and 1st in her class in Show B. Judge in show B said that if her fur was in better condition (her sister had done some serious chewing), she would have been BOB.

There was a very good showing of Blanc de Hotot at Washington State Convention. 24 entered on Saturday (6/27) and 17 on Sunday (6/28). On Saturday our intermediate buck 8B05 was BOS and on Sunday he was BOB. This now gives him 4 legs for Grand Champion!

On Sunday one of the does we imported from Germany 29118 was BOS.

We also had two intermediate does 8D09 and 8D10, and a junior doe 9D02 along with two more imports from Germany junior buck 1929 and junior doe 1931.

Weather was not too bad just a little on the warm side. The rabbits appeared to stand it OK.

Well obviously this page has not been kept up to date! From December 2017 to August 2021, due to health problems, we were totally out of rabbits. In September we got 2 mini satins from Bob Birman, and in October we got 1 mini satin from Cathleen Carr. We took 1 of the rabbits we got from Bob Birman to Tri-Cities Rabbit Association show on October 9th and got 2 BOV.
In April we attended NASS in Salt Lake City, Utah. We did not take any rabbits to the show. We did bring back a Lilac Otter Buck from Roger Hassenpflug. In May we went to a show in Albany, Oregon and picked up a Lilac Otter Doe from Roger.
In June, 2022 we attended Washington Rabbit Breeders Association show and convention in Cashmere, Washington. We showed the two Lilac Otters we got from Roger Hassenpflug, a Blue buck we got from Bob Birman, and a Black doe that was born in our barn. The black doe was Best Opposite of Variety in two shows, and Best of Variety in one show. The Lilac Otter Doe was Best of Breed in all three shows.
March 11, 2023 we attended Blue Mountain Rabbit Breeders show in Hermiston, Oregon. It was a three show day. we took 12 Mini Satins. A black junior doe, a broken senior buck, a broken junior doe, a chocolate senior buck, a chocoate junior doe, a lilac junior buck, a senior lilac doe, and 3 junior lilac does. We were honored as Best Breed Display: Mini Satin.
Our broken junior doe FIXHER was Best Opposite of Variety in Show A, and was Best of Variety in Show B - a leg towards grand champion.
Our broken senior buck 47A was Best Opposite of Variety in Show B.
Our senior chocolate buck 7221B was Best Opposite of Variety in Show A and Show C.
Our junior chocolate doe Y222D was Best of Variety in all three shows. Unfortunately there were not enough chocolates and breeders for her to get any grand champion legs.
Our Lilac junior buck Y222B was Best Opposite of Variety in Show A and Show B; he was Best of Variety in Show C.
Our senior Lilac doe 7223D was Best of Variety in Show A.
Our junior Lilac Doe Y225D was Best of Variety in Show B.
Our junior Lilac doe Y224D was Best of Variety in Show C.
March 18, 2023 we attended Tri-Cities Rabbit Association show in Kennewick, Washington. It was a double show day. We took 9 Mini Satins, a black junior doe, a broken senior buck, a broken junior doe, a chocolate junior doe, a senior lilac doe, a junior lilac buck, and 3 junior lilac does.
Our Junior Lilac doe Y225D was Best of Variety in Show B.
Our Senior Lilac doe 7223D was Best of variety in Show A - this will be her last show as she is bred and due next month.
Our Junior Lilac buck Y222B was Best Opposite of Variety in both Show A and Show B.
Our Chocolate Junior doe Y222D was Best of Variety in both Show A and Show B.
Our Senior Broken buck 47A was Best Opposite of Variety in Show A.
Our Broken Junior doe FIXHER was Best Opposite of Variety in Show B.
Our Black Junior doe was first in her class in both Show A and Show B.
April 1, 2, 2023 we attended Oregon State Convention Show in Albany, Oregon It was a double show on Saturday (1st) and a single show on Sunday (2nd). We only took 3 rabbits; a junior broken doe, a junior lilac buck, and a junior lilac doe. As of today (4/21/23) we have not received the show report; however, our broken doe was best opposite of variety in show A on Saturday, Best of variety in show B on Saturday, and Best of Variety in Show C on Sunday. We had the only Lilacs at the show.

Our Chocolate Junior Doe Y222D was Best of Variety in both Shows.
Our Lilac Junior Doe Y224D was Best of Variety in both shows.
Our Lilac Junior Buck Y222B was Best Opposite of Variety.
We sold the blacks, chocolate and a lilac doe to 4-H parents.
May 13, 2023 we attended Inland Empire Rabbit Breeders Association Putting on the Ritz show in Ritzville, WA. It was a triple show day. We took 5 Mini Satins, a broken junior doe, 2 lilac junior does, a lilac junior buck, and a senior otter doe.
Our Broken Junior Doe FIXHER was Best of Variety in all 3 Shows. She also won Breeders Choice Award.
Our Lilac Junior Buck was Best Opposite of Variety in all 3 shows.
In show A and show C our Lilac Junior Doe Y223D was best of Variety.
In show B our Lilac Junior Doe Y224D was best of variety.
Our Lilac Otter Senior Doe KENO was 2nd in her class in all 3 Shows.
June 24 and June 25. 2023 we attended the Washington Rabbit Breeders Association convention and shows. There were two shows on Saturday and one show on Sunday. We took 5 Mini Satins, a broken senior doe, 2 lilac senior does, a lilac senior buck, and a senior otter doe.
In show A Our broken Senior Doe FIXHER was Best Opposite of Variety, and won a leg towards Grand Champion. Our Lilac Senior Buck was Best of Variety, and our Senior Doe Y223D was Best Opposite of Variety.
In show B Our Broken Doe FIXHER was Best of Variety and Best Opposite of Breed. She received another Grand Champion Leg! Our Lilac Senior Doe Y223D was Best of Variety, and our Senior Buck Y222B was Best Opposite of Variety.
In Show C Our Broken Senior Doe FIXHER was Best Opposite of Variety. Our Lilac Senior Buck Y222B was Best of Variety, and our Lilac Senior Doe Y223D was Best Opposite of Variety.
July 8, 2023 we attended Wanderlust Rabbit and Cavy Show in Rickreall, Oregon. It was two Open shows and a Mini Satin Speciality Show. We took 4 Mini Satin: a Broken Senior Doe, a Senior Lilac Buck, and two Lilac Senior Does. In Show D our lilac Senior Buck Y222B was Best of Variety, and our Lilac Senior Doe Y223D was Best Opposite of Variety. Our Broken Senior Doe FIXHER was Best of Variety in the Mini Satin Speciality Show.
June 22 and June 23, 2024 we attended the Washington Rabbit Breeders Association convention and shows lm Cashmere, WA. There were two shows on Saturday and one show on Sunday. We took 3 Mini Satins, a broken lilac senior doe, a chocolate senior doe, and a white senior doe. The chocolate was best of variety, the broken lilac doe was 2 ounces over maximum and was disqualified twice. The white was last of her class.
July 6, 2024 we attended Wanderlust Rabbit and Cavy Show in McMinnville, Oregon. It was a double open show, and Mini Satin Speciality show. We took 3 lilac senior does and a broken lilac senior doe. Our doe L231D was best variety lilac in all three shows. There were 5 lilacs shown, but only 2 breeders; therefore she didn't get any legs. Our broken lilac doe was 2nd in her class.
